SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES FROM DIRECTORATE

  1. Coordinates the activities of all departments of the Institute, by ensuring strict compliance with the current existing government rules and regulations as well as liaising with the stakeholders about the institute activities, plans and challenges, in order to promote the interest of the Institute.

 Audit

  1. System monitoring, review and update from time to time.

  2. Institute’s financial policy formulation

  3. Pre and post payment auditing of the institute expenditure, for control and compliance with due process.

 SMASE

  1. To draw-up a trainer study plan for the trained SMASE State INSET teachers at the various state levels to ensure effectiveness of the training (Feedback)

  2. To develop more effective sensitization mechanism to the stakeholders to encourage them to sponsor their teachers to the institute for the SMASE training.

 International Relations Transport

  1. Ensure effective linkages were establish between, the institute and international/Regional/ Sub-regional stakeholders

  2. Ensure quality in the institute programmes management, prompt service delivery and transparency in all the institute operations.

Procurement

  1. Ensure that stores levels are maintained by quality materials at reasonable prices through the approved procedures by the country.

  2. Verification of tenders documents, contract agreements and local purchase order (LPO) for the supply of stocks to the Institute.

  3. General planning and annual budgeting for the institute store requirements.

  4. Develop and direct approves stores handling system, accounting and contract management procedures.

Protocol/Public Relations

  1. Project the good image of the institute through good public relations and protocols.
